Caring for your leather
Leather is a natural material — given a little attention, it deepens in character and lasts for generations. A few simple habits keep yours rich, supple and unmistakably yours.
Apply a small amount of leather conditioner — never oils — to a dry, soft cloth and work it into both sides of the leather. With a second clean cloth, buff away any excess, then leave the piece to air dry.
Dab the moisture away with a dry cloth or sponge. If the stitching is affected, use a damp cloth or uncoloured sponge to gently clean the threads — always working in the direction of the stitching (across the width of a belt), never against it. Towel dry, then air dry.
Our pieces are made to last, but in the rare event a thread works loose, tuck the end neatly back into the threads beside it — do this on the reverse so the repair stays invisible — and set it with a small dab of clear super glue.
